How do I make a booking?
We are accepting bookings via our online booking system click HERE.
For all large bookings of 12+ guests, please fill out the form on our large booking form HERE
How do I order food at The Grand?
The Grand operates three separate kitchens, each with its own menu and ordering point.
Guests are welcome to enjoy food from all menus throughout the venue. Please note:
Orders must be placed at the bars(s)
Italian Kitchen dishes are not available to order from the main public bar
If you’d like to order from the Italian Kitchen menu, please order at the Italian Kitchen bar
Please remember your table number when ordering so we can locate you easily and deliver your food promptly
If you’re dining as a group and would like meals to arrive together, we recommend ordering from one menu, as food from different kitchens is prepared separately and arrival times may vary.
Our team is always happy to help guide you if you’re unsure where to order.
Our Kitchens
The Grand now operates three separate kitchens, each offering a different style of food:
The Grand Kitchen – classic pub favourites
Italian Kitchen – Italian-inspired dishes and pizzas
Kiosk Kitchen – casual, fast pub-style options
Each kitchen operates independently, with its own menu and service point.
Ordering from multiple menus
You’re welcome to enjoy food from more than one kitchen, however please note:
Food from different kitchens is prepared separately
Arrival times may not be coordinated
For groups wishing to dine together, we recommend ordering from one menu
We’ll always do our best, but timing across multiple kitchens cannot be guaranteed.
Do I require a booking for entry?
No booking is required for entry — walk-ins are welcome.
We accept walk-ins across all areas of the venue, including the Bistro, Grandstand, Front Bar, The Nook, The Den, Italian Kitchen, and along our Footpath seating.
What are your minimum booking sizes?
Minimum booking sizes:

Bistro, Itilian Kitchen, The Nook, Grandstand & High Top tables: 4 guests

The Den (booth seating): 8 guests
Smaller groups are welcome to walk in, subject to availability.
We accept walk-ins across all areas of the venue, including the Bistro, Itilian Kitchen, Grandstand, Front Bar, and Footpath seating.
All walk-in tables are subject to availability.
What are your maximum booking sizes?
Maximum booking size: 12 guests per table in the Bistro, Italian Kitchen, and Grandstand.
A maximum of 2 tables may be booked per group, accommodating up to 24 guests across two tables.

Please note table capacities vary by area:

The date and time I am trying to book for is not appearing, are you booked out?
Yes, if your requested date and time does not appear, our bookable tables are fully booked.
However, we are still accepting walk-ins with over half of our tables allocated to walk ins only.
We have plenty of space for guests to stand and drink or sit on a walk in table.
I need to amend my booking, how do I go about this?
To amend your booking time, booking size or table location request please follow either of the below steps:

What time can I book for lunch?
Our lunch booking times are:
12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm & 2:00 pm
What time can I book for dinner?
Our dinner booking times are:
5:30 pm, 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm & 8:00pm
Is there a time limit on my table?
All lunch bookings have the table guaranteed until 5:00pm.
All dinner bookings have the table guaranteed until close.
You are welcome to stay longer if a walk in table is available.
Please note, all walk ins tables are subject to table availability.
VARIETY OF TABLES & ROOMS
What is a standard table?
A standard table is a low table with low chairs, with a backing.
These tables are positioned inside The Social, in The Lower Deck, The Upper Deck and in The Eastern Room.


What is a high top table?
High Top Tables are tall tables with high chairs that include back support.
These tables are positioned throughout the venue, including the Sports Bar and Italian Kitchen areas.
High Top Tables are for walk-ins only and suitable for groups of 4–6 guests.

What dining space options do you have?
What dining space options do you have?
We offer several dining spaces across the venue to suit different occasions:

Italian Kitchen – our Italian dining area, perfect for lunch or dinner bookings.

The Bistro – a relaxed indoor dining space suitable for casual meals and groups.

The Grandstand Sports Bar – a lively area with screens and a social atmosphere.

Footpath Dining – outdoor seating along the front of the venue.
Please note: The Grandstand Sports Bar and Footpath Dining are primarily reserved for walk-ins.
Bookings for these areas can be requested via our booking page but are subject to availability.
All menus are available throughout the venue, so you can enjoy the same food and drinks no matter where you’re seated.
Dogs are permitted on the footpath only and must be kept on a lead at all times.
What is the Italian Kitchen and how does it work?
The Italian Kitchen is The Grand’s Italian-inspired food offering, serving a selection of pasta, pizzas and Italian-style dishes in a relaxed, casual setting.
The Italian Kitchen is not a separate restaurant — it’s simply another great food option available within the venue. Food from the Italian Kitchen can be enjoyed throughout The Grand, subject to availability and ordering guidelines.

What is The Nook and how do I book it?
The Nook is positioned in the front window of The Social. This booth has views of picturesque Warrandyte nature and Yarra Street. This is a Semi Private Seating.
This table is a high table, sitting on a cushioned seat or a high seat with a backing. It can fit a minimum of 4 guests and a maximum of 5 guests. There are two tables available in this space.
To book this table, please select ‘The Nook’ when booking online.

What is The Den and how do I book it?
The Den is our new booth seating and is positioned inside The Social on the Upper Deck. This is a Semi Private Dining space.
This table is a low table, sitting on a cushioned seat. It can fit a minimum of 8 guests and a maximum of 10 guests. There is only one table available.
To book this table, please select ‘The Den’ when booking online.

I would like to sit in your outdoor area, Grand Stand, how do I do this?
We’ve recently added The Thunderdome, which forms part of our Grandstand outdoor space. While The Thunderdome cannot be booked exclusively, it offers complete shelter and is ideal for larger bookings looking to enjoy an outdoor experience in comfort.
To request seating in the Grandstand/Thunderdome:

For groups of 12 or fewer, please book via our standard booking page and select Grandstand

For larger groups, please use the Large Booking Form and select outside

What is the seating like outside in Grand Stand?
All tables outside in Grand Stand are on high tables with high stools, with a backing.
Additionally, we have low metal stools positioned along the edge of Grand Stand for casual drinking sessions.



What is the seating like in The Front Bar (formally The Public Bar)?
All tables inside The Front Bar are on high tables with high stools.
These tables are allocated to walk ins only and cannot be booked.
What is the seating like outside along The Footpath?
The tables outside along The Footpath are a mixture of high and low tables, along with wine barrels and stools.
These tables cannot be booked and are allocated to walk-ins only.
Dogs are welcome to sit with guests at the footpath tables.


If my booking is outside, does that guarantee it is undercover?
We have multiple tables under cover with other tables receiving some shelter from umbrellas or trees. If extreme poor weather, we cannot guarantee a table will be available inside however we will try our best to accommodate all table requests.
For all table requests, please note this in your booking in the ‘special requests’ box.
Do you have a children’s play area?
No, we do not have a children’s play area.
OTHER
Do you sell Grand Gift Vouchers?
Yes! Grand Gift Vouchers can be purchased HERE.
The voucher can be used on food or beverages. Please note this is a physical hard copy voucher, not a digital voucher.
The voucher can be collected from The Grand Hotel free of charge or posted with tracked registered shipping for $10. The Grand is not responsible for Aus Post and delays in deliveries.
When does the courtesy bus operate?
The courtesy bus operates on Friday and Saturday evenings, depending on staff availability on the night.
Operation of the bus is at management’s discretion and is not guaranteed.
Our courtesy bus is a privilege, not a right.
The courtesy bus accommodates up to 10 passengers and operates within an 8km radius of The Grand Hotel Warrandyte.
A maximum of one drop-off location per group applies
I would like to attend your Trivia night, how do I do this?
Trivia Tuesday returns on Tuesday, 12 May 2026 — the first Tuesday after Mother’s Day — and runs right through to 27 October 2026.
Join us for Trivia Tuesday, free to play with great prizes and vouchers up for grabs each week.
Bookings are encouraged to avoid disappointment, or feel free to walk in on the night.
We’re bringing it back bigger and better than ever — gather your crew and get ready for a great night.
Do you have happy hours?
Thirsty Thursday returns 5th February 2026.
Join us every Thursday night from 7:00pm – 10:00pm for three hours of Happy Hour specials.

Are you showcasing live sport?
Absolutely!
We showcase live sport everyday on our 13 plasma TV’s throughout our venue.
Do you have live music?
Yes we sure do!

Can I bring a birthday cake to my booking?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a birthday cake — we do not supply birthday cakes.
A birthday cake is the only external food or beverage permitted.
There is no surcharge; however, guests are required to cut and serve the cake themselves.
What time is your kitchen open?
All kitchen opening hours can be found on our Menu Page HERE.
Do you cater for coeliacs?
Many of our dishes are available gluten friendly, however some gluten friendly products are cooked in an environment within close proximity of other products containing gluten.
We cannot guarantee the meal item is completely gluten free. In saying this we regularly have coeliacs dine at our establishment.
Please advise of any dietary requirements upon making your order and our staff will do our best to cater for your dietary needs.
Are children allowed in The Front Bar and Grand Stand?

No children under the age of 18 are permitted inside The Front Bar or Grandstand after 8:30pm.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when approaching the bar, even when ordering a soft drink or juice.

All children must remain seated with an accompanying adult at all times.
Do you have a Kids Menu?
Yes we have a kids menu available.
Are dogs allowed in Grand Stand?
No dogs are allowed in Grand Stand; however, they are welcome on tables along The Footpath.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes we have disabled access to all areas of our venue.
We have multiple disabled toilets and lift access to the Function spaces upstairs.
Can I sit upstairs for my booking?
No apologies, our upstairs spaces are for exclusive function bookings.
